March 2, 2004 - Greetings from Eos in the New Year!
We’re back, bigger and better than before. Last year was quite the learning experience... we picked up a number of exciting new properties, but various circumstances prevented us from putting them out.
So we’ve restructured and redesigned – the website’s new look is only the beginning! Why the logjam before this? Well, now the restructuring is done, we’ve centralized our production and manufacturing facilities. Eos Press now has the capability of a full range of printing and production services, whether it’s books, toys, games… you name it, we can make it!
Look forward to an entire raft of Eos Products to come out – first, Greg Stolze’s Abuse: The Final Insult will make its debut, hot off the presses and soon to arrive in distribution. Then that will be followed by the advent of Creatures & Cultists, the Game that was not Dead but Dreaming, but has arisen hideously from its prior incarnation from the backs of magazines into full-color Kovalic-drawn glory! Then like the onslaught of Emperor Qin’s army, Weapons of the Gods is thundering towards completion.
We’ve been privileged to work with some of the finest talents in the industry, whether it’s Samuel Araya (soon to be known for Abuse), the Pagans (Mssrs. Tynes, Glancy and Detwiller), Greg Stolze of Godlike fame, and the talented Ms. R. Sean Borgstrom… all of these experiences have informed our past and present.
So what lies ahead for the future? Well, many are the kettles we have boiling, and some are just about done. Look forward to intriguing news around the corner, old friends at your door (we did it with Creatures… so why not something else?), but with all of this going on and working forward, we look forward with the conviction that 2004 will be a great year for Eos!
March 2, 2004 - Weapons of the Gods Nearing Completion
Weapons of the Gods is hurtling towards the finish line; Setting is complete (and oh what a setting!), the art is ready (see the gallery), the kung fu all finished and in place, with the playtesting a success… so it’s off to layout already! Soon you’ll have Ancient Chinese Fantasy at your door, all ready to give you Wuxia Action, ready to kick ass and take names in the name of righteousness and change!
