July 3, 2004 - ORIGINS Recap!
Greetings! Eos Press is back from ORIGINS, with successful demos and a
good time under the belt (Hmm, sounds like a weight problem!). Anyway. The
demos went over well on the whole, though I unfortunately missed the very
first one due to a late-in-the-day scheduling change in my plane flight...
again, I regret missing the people who showed to that session! People had
a lot of fun in the well-attended Weapons of the Gods demo, as did those
who played Creatures and Cultists. On the whole, I think the biggest thing
I would have done differently is schedule more events! I had a great time
hanging out with Jason Blair, Eddy Webb, Adam Jury, and a number of
others, as well as getting to talk to other neat folks, like Phil Brucato
(Deliria and Mage) and Geoff Grabowski (Exalted). I'm looking forward to
GenCon, and for that I'm bringing my crew—there'll be a couple of us
running demos, and more of them! See you there!
