January 31, 2005 - Join the Wulin Tourney
A number of people have asked that a Quickplay of some sort be made for Weapons of the Gods – and while that’s a good idea, it didn’t seem… active enough. The Eos Press Forums already contain more than enough such material… so we wanted to do something really special instead.
So here it is – come join the Weapon of the Gods Online Chatroom Demo – otherwise known as the Wulin Tourney! The Wulin Tourney, in the campaign setting, is the great contest of skill and daring wherein the most reputable warriors of the Martial Arts World – The Wulin - contend for the position of leadership! So come one, come all. People who register for the tourney will have their character concept written up in the full game rules on the Eos Press Forums and get to play the actual game, online! This is not a one-shot event – multiple sessions will be held, with actual contributors to the book presiding! So watch your favorite movie, read your favorite comic, and write up YOUR Wuxia Hero, and fight for fame and glory in the Wulin Tourney!
This event will start in February, and run through March, ending just before the book comes out!
Rules will be posted in the Eos Press Forums. Rules and signups will be shown in a thread of the same name.
January 31, 2005 - Design Your Own Weapon of the Gods Contest!
Eos Press recently held a contest for fans to design their own Weapon of the Gods, competing for a chance to appear in the upcoming Weapons of the Gods Companion. The contest is over, but watch this space for news about the winner. We should have an announcement on February 4th.
January 31, 2005 - GenCon SoCal Recap!
Last December Eos Press had a rockin' time at GenCon SoCal. Not only did we get to do daily demos of Weapons of the Gods, but we also sold a lot of copies of Abuse and Creatures and Cultists.
